My wife got an orchid of some kind from a friend a few years ago, and it has finally bloomed again this summer. Obviously I couldn't resist a shot. I played with a bunch of things, but in the end I really liked this strong rule of thirds composition.
Strobist: 430 EX angled up just below the flower, 1/32 power through the built-in diffuser.
