Farmer's Market Season Begins

Although the summer farmer's markets have been going now for about a week, today at lunchtime I finally managed to make it over to the one near where I work. Although at the moment they are mostly selling herbs in pots, I still came home with asparagus, strawberries, lettuce, and greenhouse tomatoes. The early summer, when the first fresh produce starts appearing at the markets, is always a great moment.
