I think this lighting thing is turning into a bit of an obsession. I started reading the Strobist.com Lighting 102 series of posts tonight, and decided that I would try to acheive the effect demonstrated in this photo and described in the "Umbrella Specular Portrait" post. Three hours later, this is what I've got. It's not perfect but I learned an awful lot in the process. I think for my health and sanity, though, the flash is going to have to take a break for the rest of the week.
