Tuesday was our second CSA pickup of the season. It was kind of a hectic day, with a lot going on at work and dinner guests, so here is a vegetable shot from the CSA pickup.
These are Hakurei turnips, a mild white variety. They are excellent raw in salads, and also quite good braised.
